„Since 1996 the peripherie exists as an exhibition/project space, located in Tübingen, 30 km to the south of Stuttgart in Germany. The peripherie
presents contemporary art and projects from regional, national and international artists. The size of the space is approximately 10 x 10 x 10 m. The space is dominated by two large windows on one wall opposite a mezzanine. There is also a large column in the middle of the room. Due to the special architecture of the space it does not make much sense to present traditional exhibitions. So we mostly look for projects which work with the social context and architecture of the space.“
